Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management within the DIFC or ADGM environments. The role requires expertise in fund management, private equity, or similar investment management sectors (e.g., family offices, sovereign wealth funds). The selected candidate will play a vital role in preparing financial statements, managing tax filings, maintaining bank relationships, and supporting strategic financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Oversee tax filings, including VAT, corporate tax, and any other relevant regulatory filings.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, ensuring efficient cash management .
• Provide comprehensive financial reporting for fund management, private equity, or other investment portfolios.
• Ensure compliance with DIFC, ADGM, or other relevant jurisdictional requirements.
• Perform regular reconciliations of accounts, including fund performance tracking and investor reporting.
• Analyze and implement financial controls, ensuring robust and effective financial management practices.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CMA, or CA) are highly preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with the capacity to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.
• More than 5 years of experience in similar field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
