EPC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the construction, fire industry, and trading sectors, particularly within Saudi Arabia. This role requires a thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and industry-specific practices, including accounts payable and receivable, project accounting, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the processing of invoices, payments, and collections. Ensure timely and accurate posting of transactions. Project Accounting: Track project costs, manage budgets, and prepare financial reports for construction and fire industry projects. Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels, perform reconciliations, and ensure accurate valuation. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making. Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Audit: Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare audit schedules, and respond to audit inquiries. General Ledger: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Taxation: Prepare and file tax returns, ensure compliance with tax regulations, and provide support during tax audits. Team Leadership: Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA. ACCA certification preferred. Experience: Minimum of 7 years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role. Experience in the construction and trading industries is highly desirable. Experience working in Saudi Arabia is required. Technical Skills: Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft dynamics, or similar), Microsoft Excel, and financial analysis tools. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
