Job Description

•Job Duties for Senior Accountant•

1. Operational Accounting:
- Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and statements.

2. Tax Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with VAT and corporate tax regulations as per UAE laws.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and corporate tax filings timely.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on the impact.

3. Financial Data Migration:
- Oversee the migration of financial data to new systems or upgrades.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy during the migration process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the migration.

4. ERP Software Knowledge (First BIT):
- Utilize First BIT ERP software for financial management and reporting.
- Train and support staff on the use of the ERP system.
- Optimize the use of the ERP system to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.

5. Internal Operation Software:
- Update and maintain sales, purchase, and expense records in internal operation software.
- Ensure data consistency and accuracy between internal operation software and First BIT accounting software.
- Monitor and manage inventory and stock levels in accounting software.

6. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and other relevant accounting standards.

7. Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures.
- Ensure efficient and effective financial operations.

8. Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
- Communicate financial information clearly and effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
- Provide support and guidance to junior accounting staff.

9. Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to financial reporting and operations.
- Maintain proper documentation and records as required by law.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Extensive experience in accounting, preferably in a Fintech or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
- Proficiency in ERP software (First BIT) and other accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Location: Al Barsha 1
Days and Timing: Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Visa and Medical Insurance: To be provided
Benefits: As per UAE Labor Law
Preferred experience: 2-4 years

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,999.00 per month
