Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant - Accounts Receivable with proven experience in the construction and manufacturing industries. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling complex contracts, managing billing processes, and ensuring efficient accounts receivable operations while adhering to high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and manage complex, custom-designed client contracts.

Handle client billing processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contractual terms.

Address and resolve client requirements efficiently, maintaining strong relationships.

Adapt to changes in processes, policies, or market conditions effectively.

Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Prepare and present accounts receivable (AR) and revenue-related reports, including aging reports.

Perform monthly AR closing processes and ensure accurate reconciliations.

Account for VAT and taxes correctly in compliance with local regulations.

Draft and review client contracts in collaboration with relevant departments.

Support auditors by providing required documentation and explanations.

Execute collection strategies to ensure timely receipt of outstanding dues.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable within the construction or manufacturing sectors.

In-depth understanding of complex contract structures and revenue recognition principles.

Strong knowledge of VAT and tax accounting regulations.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
