• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for the organization. Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analysis to provide insights into the company's financial performance. Identify areas for improvement and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities as necessary. Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the organization's tax liabilities.
• Internal Controls: Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information. Monitor compliance with policies and procedures.
• Cash Management: Manage cash flow and liquidity to meet the organization's financial obligations. Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize the use of funds.
• Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks facing the organization. Develop risk mitigation strategies and policies to protect against financial losses.
• Financial Planning: Assist in the development of financial plans and forecasts. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor finance staff. Provide guidance and support to ensure their professional development and performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance roles, with demonstrable experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
• Thorough understanding of UAE accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software and financial systems. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis techniques, and tax laws.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations based on insights.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and management skills. Ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve goals and objectives.
• Fluency in Arabic and English is an advantage.
