My Client is a leading investment firm based in Abu Dhabi, committed to delivering superior returns for their clients through strategic investment strategies and innovative financial solutions.Responsibilities: Preparing journal entries and perform reconciliationsProducing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results.Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial statusAssist in budget preparation and monitor financial performance versus the budget.Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.Prepare financial statements according to schedule.Coordinate and prepare for audits and liaise with external auditors.Support month-end and year-end close process.Computing taxes and preparing tax returns, balance sheet, profit/loss statement etc.Manage all accounting operations based on accounting principles.Keep up with financial policies, regulations, and legislation.Any other duties as required. Requirements: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask.Proficient in Oracle Netsuite is a must-have.Familiarity with financial accounting statementsThorough knowledge of accounting proceduresAdvanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.Knowledge of tax laws and IFRS standards.BS degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant.
