Our client is a leading Port Terminal Operator headquartered in the UAE. They seek a Senior Account Manager to lead the UAE Internal Sales and Customer relationship management team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Guide and motivate a Sales team in the identification and engagement of UAE Cargo Clients, fostering connections with shipping lines and NVOCCs.
  • Develop value propositions and marketing materials tailored to the needs of Key Cargo Clients within the supply chain. Adapt existing assets and services to align with the unique requirements of each Cargo Client.
  • Collaborate with trade management and sales executives from shipping lines and NVOCCs to execute effective joint sales campaigns aimed at driving volume growth.
  • Explore and cultivate fresh geographic business and growth prospects for the Group. Collaborate with the data analytics team to conduct comprehensive market studies that bolster the business proposal.
  • Oversee, guide, supervise, and motivate the sales team to achieve optimal performance, ensuring consistent utilization of CRM and related sales tools.
  • Oversee UAE Cargo Client sales performance and trends while coordinating clients budgets and pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with the Communications team to identify significant customer/trade events, promotions, and relevant associations for the Group's involvement.
Quality, Health and Safety, and Environment :
  • Ensure all health, safety, and security protocols are rigorously enforced and adhered to across all Company activities, safeguarding both employees and the public.
  • Adhere to all relevant industry standards and applicable laws while striving for ongoing improvement in HSSE management practices.
  • Demonstrate robust visible commitment, leadership, and personal engagement in health, safety, security, and environmental matters, while ensuring the provision of essential resources to attain our HSSE objectives.
Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, business administration, marketing or international business.
  • 10 years of experience in carrier/forwarder/NVOCC/transport/logistics
  • 5 years of leadership/management experience.
  • Proven experience navigating and calling on Executive levels through an existing network.
  • Proficiency in sales management, international marketing, and negotiation techniques.
