We are seeking a talented and visionary Senior 3D Artist to design and develop visually stunning assets for metaverse projects. As a key part of our creative team, you will bring virtual worlds to life, working alongside developers, designers, and product teams to deliver exceptional 3D experiences.

Your work will directly impact the look and feel of cutting-edge metaverse applications, ensuring they are both visually captivating and highly functional.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality 3D assets, including environments, characters, props, and animations, optimized for real-time applications.
• Collaborate with Unity developers and designers to ensure seamless integration of assets into metaverse platforms.
• Design and implement visually compelling environments that enhance user engagement.
• Use industry-standard tools like Blender, Maya, or 3ds Max to model, rig, and texture 3D assets.
• Develop photorealistic and stylized textures using tools like Substance Painter, Photoshop, or similar software.
• Optimize assets for performance across various devices, including AR/VR platforms.
• Stay current on industry trends and techniques, bringing innovative ideas and styles to the team.
• Contribute to world-building efforts by combining storytelling with creative design elements.
• Maintain design consistency across projects by adhering to established workflows and style guides.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, and animation.
• Expertise in tools like Blender , Maya , 3ds Max , and ZBrush .
• Strong knowledge of Substance Painter , Substance Designer , and Photoshop for texturing.
• Experience with rendering engines such as Unity , Unreal Engine , or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with performance optimization for real-time rendering and AR/VR platforms.
• Understanding of 3D pipelines and asset workflows for game engines.
• Ability to create PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials and shaders.

Experience and Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a 3D Artist, with at least 2 years in metaverse or AR/VR projects.
• Proven portfolio showcasing a variety of high-quality 3D assets and environments.
• Familiarity with Web3, blockchain concepts, and NFTs is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of procedural asset creation using tools like Houdini is a bonus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in 3D Art, Game Design, Animation, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with creating assets for multiplayer environments and metaverse platforms.
• Understanding of real-time physics simulations and particle effects.
• Experience with character rigging and animation for AR/VR applications.
• Basic knowledge of scripting (e.g., Python, MEL) for automating tasks.
• Familiarity with DevOps workflows, version control (Git), and asset management systems.
