We are seeking an experienced FM (Facility Management) Security Trainer to develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive security training programs to staff in the facility management sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and regulatory standards in facility management.
Key Responsibilities:
Training Development:
Create and update training materials, presentations, and programs focused on security procedures, emergency response, and safety protocols for staff working in facilities.
Training Delivery:
Conduct regular training sessions, workshops, and seminars for new hires and existing employees to ensure they are well-versed in security protocols.
Security Protocols:
Teach staff about security systems, surveillance equipment, access control, and emergency procedures.
Compliance:
Ensure all training materials and sessions comply with relevant local, state, and national regulations and safety standards.
Performance Evaluation:
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and on-site evaluations.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and employee performance during training programs.
Collaboration:
Work closely with facility managers and security teams to assess security training needs and tailor programs accordingly.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay updated with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure training remains relevant and effective.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Security Management, or related field (preferred).
Certification in security or facility management (e.g., Certified Facility Manager - CFM, Certified Protection Professional - CPP).
Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in security training or facility management.
Strong knowledge of security systems, risk management, and emergency response procedures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to assess training effectiveness and provide constructive feedback.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to lead training sessions and engage participants effectively.
Knowledge of security technologies and their application in facility management.
Ability to adapt training materials for various learning styles and employee levels.
