Oversee the daily operations of the security team, ensuring all staff follow resort policies and procedures.
Train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel to maintain high standards of service and safety.
Prepare duty rosters and assign tasks to security team members.
Safety and Security
Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the property to identify and address security risks.
Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, thefts, and disturbances, ensuring proper incident management and documentation.
Monitor and manage access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems.
Guest and Staff Support
Provide assistance to guests and staff in security-related matters, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Address guest complaints or concerns related to safety professionally and promptly.
Incident Reporting and Compliance
Document all incidents and maintain accurate reports for management review.
Ensure compliance with local laws, health, safety, and security regulations.
Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Preventive Measures
Implement and enforce security protocols to prevent theft, vandalism, and other threats.
Conduct safety drills and training sessions for staff, including fire evacuation and emergency response.
Crisis Management
Act as the first point of contact during emergencies and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a swift and effective response.
Develop and update contingency plans for various scenarios, including natural disasters and security breaches.
Qualifications
Proven experience in security or law enforcement, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of security systems, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle confidential information.
Familiarity with hotel or resort operations is a plus.
