Key ResponsibilitiesSupervision and Team Management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the security team, ensuring all staff follow resort policies and procedures.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate security personnel to maintain high standards of service and safety.
  • Prepare duty rosters and assign tasks to security team members.
Safety and Security
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections of the property to identify and address security risks.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, including medical incidents, thefts, and disturbances, ensuring proper incident management and documentation.
  • Monitor and manage access control systems, CCTV surveillance, and alarm systems.
Guest and Staff Support
  • Provide assistance to guests and staff in security-related matters, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
  • Address guest complaints or concerns related to safety professionally and promptly.
Incident Reporting and Compliance
  • Document all incidents and maintain accurate reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, health, safety, and security regulations.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Preventive Measures
  • Implement and enforce security protocols to prevent theft, vandalism, and other threats.
  • Conduct safety drills and training sessions for staff, including fire evacuation and emergency response.
Crisis Management
  • Act as the first point of contact during emergencies and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a swift and effective response.
  • Develop and update contingency plans for various scenarios, including natural disasters and security breaches.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in security or law enforcement, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
  • Knowledge of security systems, CCTV monitoring, and emergency response procedures.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle confidential information.
  • Familiarity with hotel or resort operations is a plus.
