Job Overview Anantara in Oman is seeking a dedicated and experienced Security Supervisor to join our team. The Security Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of guests, staff, and property within the hotel premises. Job Responsibilities Supervise security personnel and coordinate security operations Develop and implement security policies and procedures Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to detect and prevent security breaches Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems Respond to emergencies and incidents, including thefts, disturbances, and medical emergencies Investigate security incidents and prepare incident reports Liaise with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services as needed Train security staff on security protocols and procedures Qualifications/Skills Strong leadership and interpersonal skills Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations Knowledge of security best practices and procedures Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred Education and Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Security certification or training is an asset Minimum of 2 years of experience in security supervision or a related field Working Environments Indoor and outdoor environments, including exposure to varying weather conditions Interaction with guests, colleagues, and external stakeholders Varied shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Benefits Competitive salary Health insurance coverage Retirement savings plan Employee discounts on dining and accommodations Opportunities for career advancement and professional development Supportive work environment with a focus on teamwork and excellence Salary Salary will be commensurate with experience.
