Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Science Park, is looking for an active Security Supervisor to join their extraordinary team! Ideally located in the heart of Dubai Science Park, in the most sought after residential area of Dubai. Minutes away from mega malls, magnificent Jumeirah Beaches, world\'s leading tourist attractions and Parks, auto drome and over 5 championship golf courses. Holiday Inn & Suites at Dubai Science Park includes 240 hotel rooms and suites and 84 one-bedroom apartments, anchor F&B offerings and an extensive 1026sqm cutting-edge meeting and events facilities.

What is the job?

In a nutshell, as Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for the safety of guests, employees and hotel property. Support the utilization of the Company\'s Winning Ways and IHG Commitment to colleagues - True Hospitality at Work.

Your day to day

Supervises daily Security Operations and duties & responsibilities of outsourced Security team members. Under the guidance of Government Relations & Security Manger, coordinates smooth daily operation as per the department standard, ensuring effective communication and information exchange between the management and security staff.

To ensure all Security team members and colleagues are aware of and adhering to the company Policies and Procedures.

Assists with preparing security plans for special events and assisting with all Security training.

Conducts an effective shift hand over, including briefing all team members of relevant events and information, taking possession of departmental property and responsibility for their safekeeping

Initiates investigation of crimes committed against property and persons, writes incident and accident reports, monitors investigations to their timely conclusion and ensures appropriate follow-up with guests, visitors, employees, reports and documenting contacts.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum two years\' experience in similar role within a 4/5 Star Hotel/Hospitality sector and have a good knowledge of Local and International legislation and best practice.
• Fluent English communication skills (read, write, speak), fluency in Arabic language is highly desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong problem-solving skills
• SIRA license is required due to local regulations
