Keeps the Security Manager informed of all security related matters.
Liaises with Management personnel and all employees and assist with security problems and loss
control.
Proper grooming at all times
Attend training classes as per schedule
Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities Patrols lobbies, corridors, guest floors, public areas and outside, including parking area.
Confers with management, interviews guests and employees, and interrogates persons to detect infringements and investigates disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, and accidents.
Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and missing or inoperative safety equipment. Warns or ejects troublemakers and cautions careless persons.
Obtains assistance for accident victims and writes accident reports.
Notifies concerned Department Head of presence of persons with questionable reputations. Enters and checks rooms of guests suspected of leaving without paying bill to confirm suspicious and to seize any remaining personal property.
Complies and records data for Security Control.
Monitors and maintains electrical and computer control panels. Assists guests and employees in hotel operations and service.
Ensures all Fire safety equipment is at the designated places and are serviceable at all times. Ensures all Fire Exits and stairs are clear from obstruction at all times.
Directs incoming guests to the check in area.
Directs guests and visitors to any of the hotel's facilities. Prevents entrance of unauthorized or undesirable persons,
Ensures no non-hotel guest to sit or sleep in the lobby waiting or resting areas.
Maintains tight security in lobby by closely monitoring those who come in and leaving the hotel. Directs traffic in the hotel's driveway.
Reports complaints or problems to Security Manager if no immediate solution can be found.
Ensures a high level of product knowledge of hotel and local areas. Ensures a high level of customer service is consistently maintained.
Ensures the Security Manager kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from either customers or other departments.
Reads all memos concerning Security
Opens and closes car doors for guests whenever the opportunity arises. Prevents unauthorised parking in driveway.
Attends and contributes to all meetings as required
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year in a similar role with a five-star hotel. Computer and excellent communication skills.
