Position: Night Shift Security Officer (with Computer & Vehicle Tracking Skills)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented, and tech-savvy Night Shift Security Officer to join our security team. In addition to traditional security duties, this role requires proficiency in using computer systems to monitor and track vehicles entering and exiting the premises, as well as issuing passes via security software. The ideal candidate will be vigilant, have strong computer skills, and possess the ability to manage vehicle access and monitor security systems during the night shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Monitoring & Tracking: Use security software to monitor, track, and log all vehicles entering and exiting the premises during the night shift.
• Pass Issuance: Issue and manage access passes for vehicles and authorized personnel using the security software, ensuring all data is accurately recorded.
• CCTV & Alarm Monitoring: Operate and monitor CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control systems to ensure the premises are secure.
• Incident Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all vehicle activities, incidents, and security reports through computer-based systems.
• Patrol and Inspection: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure security, monitor for any suspicious activity, and perform inspections of vehicles when necessary.
• Respond to Alarms: Respond promptly to any security alarms or incidents, including checking vehicle registration and ensuring proper authorization via software systems.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure security software and equipment are working correctly, troubleshoot minor issues, and report technical problems to the IT team as needed.
• Customer Service: Assist employees and visitors with vehicle access and pass inquiries, ensuring a smooth and secure experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Security Officer, or in a similar security role.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with security software for vehicle tracking and pass issuance.
• Ability to monitor and operate CCTV cameras, access control, and alarm systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in logging and reporting security activities.
• Ability to work independently, especially during the night shift, while maintaining a vigilant presence.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) for issuing passes and handling visitor inquiries.
• Strong problem-solving skills to handle access control and vehicle issues efficiently.
• Valid security officer certification (if required in your region).
• Ability to handle sensitive information and security data with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with vehicle tracking software and pass management systems.
• Familiarity with digital security systems and cloud-based monitoring platforms.
• Knowledge of basic IT troubleshooting techniques related to security systems.
• Prior experience working in a night shift security role.
