Job Summary: The Security Cum Camp Manager with military experience is responsible for overseeing the safety, security, and overall management of labor camps. This role ensures the well-being of all camp residents while maintaining a secure environment and compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The manager will leverage military expertise to enhance security measures and manage camp operations effectively. Key Responsibilities:
Security Management:
Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and protocols for the camp.
Monitor and manage security personnel to ensure the safety and security of camp residents and property.
Conduct regular security drills, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential threats.
Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
Camp Management:
Oversee daily operations of the labor camps, including accommodation, food services, and recreational facilities.
Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained, clean, and safe.
Manage the allocation of rooms and beds to laborers, ensuring optimal occupancy.
Health and Safety:
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the camp.
Coordinate with medical staff to provide healthcare services and emergency response plans.
Conduct regular safety inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Welfare and Well-being:
Develop and implement welfare programs aimed at improving the quality of life for camp residents.
Address and resolve any welfare-related issues, complaints, or grievances raised by the laborers.
Organize recreational and social activities to promote well-being and community spirit among residents.
Administration and Compliance:
Maintain accurate records of camp residents, including personal information and employment details.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws and company policies regarding labor accommodation and welfare.
Prepare and submit regular reports on camp operations, security incidents, and welfare activities to senior management.
Budgeting and Financial Management:
Manage the budget for camp operations, including expenses for maintenance, utilities, and welfare programs.
Ensure cost-effective procurement of goods and services required for the camp.
Staff Supervision:
Supervise and manage camp staff, including cleaners, cooks, and security personnel.
Provide training and support to camp staff to ensure high standards of service delivery.
Liaison and Coordination:
Act as a liaison between camp residents and company management.
Coordinate with project managers, HR departments, and other stakeholders to address labor-related issues and requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in camp management or a similar role, preferably in the construction industry.
Military background with substantial experience in security management.
Strong understanding of security protocols, labor laws, health and safety regulations, and welfare standards.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in the Middle East or similar regions.
Knowledge of local language and culture.
Certification in health and safety management
