Job Description

The Security Guard will be responsible for safeguarding the premises, assets, employees, and customers by actively patrolling, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing security protocols. This role requires attention to detail, a high level of alertness, and the ability to respond swiftly to potential threats or emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Premises Surveillance: Monitor the premises using surveillance systems, patrolling regularly to ensure a visible and reassuring security presence.
• Access Control: Manage access points for employees, customers, and visitors, checking identification and restricting access to secure areas.
• Incident Response: Quickly respond to any security alarms, disturbances, or potential threats, and take appropriate action to neutralize risks.
• Asset Protection: Safeguard high-value jewelry, gold, and diamonds by closely observing displays and securing restricted areas.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and thorough reports of daily activities, incidents, and any suspicious activities observed on the premises.
• Customer Assistance: Provide a welcoming presence for customers, assist them with inquiries, and help maintain a secure and pleasant environment.
• Emergency Procedures: Familiarize with and follow the company's emergency response procedures for situations like fire, theft, or evacuation.
• Collaboration: Work closely with management, sales staff, and external law enforcement if necessary, to maintain a safe and secure environment.

Requirements:

• Experience: 2 years of experience as a Security Guard, preferably in a retail or high-value goods environment.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods and respond quickly to emergencies.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with CCTV and surveillance equipment, as well as alarm and access control systems.
• Communication: Good verbal communication skills, with the ability to remain calm and communicate clearly in stressful situations.
• Integrity & Alertness: High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and alertness to potential security threats.
• Preferred Qualifications: Security guard certification or licensing in the UAE is preferred.
