We are currently looking to hire a highly vigilant and experienced Security Guard to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and visitors within our premises. Responsibilities: 1. Patrol assigned areas on foot or by vehicle, applying comprehensive knowledge of potential security risks and areas vulnerable to unauthorized access. 2. Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to security threats or suspicious activities. 3. Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all access points are secure and locked, and report any breaches or vulnerabilities to the appropriate authorities. 4. Provide a visible security presence to deter undesirable activity and effectively handle any disruptive or violent behavior onsite. 5. Enforce company policies and procedures, including the appropriate handling of confidential or sensitive information. 6. Respond quickly and appropriately to emergency situations, such as fires, medical emergencies, or natural disasters, following established protocols. 7. Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports, documenting all security-related activities, observations, or incidents that occur during your shift. 8. Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, and management to coordinate an effective emergency response plan. 9. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting employees, visitors, or vendors with directions, information, or assistance as required. 10. Stay updated on emerging security trends, techniques, and technologies to continually enhance security protocols and procedures. Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Proven work experience as a Security Guard or related role. 3. Valid security license or certification, as required by local regulations. 4. Strong knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and general safety awareness. 5. Excellent observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 6. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while handling stressful situations. 7. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals. 8. Physically fit and able to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, as well as lift or carry heavy objects if necessary. 9. Knowledge of basic computer applications and surveillance systems/software is a plus. 10. Availability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
