We are seeking a vigilant and reliable Security Guard to join our team in the UAE. The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, assets, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent observational skills, and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Surveillance and Patrol: Monitor premises through surveillance cameras and conduct regular patrols to ensure a safe environment. Access Control: Control access to the facility by verifying identification and credentials, maintaining logs of visitors and vehicles. Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, providing first aid and summoning assistance as needed. Report Writing: Prepare and submit detailed reports on daily activities, observations, and incidents. Security Checks: Conduct security checks and inspections to detect potential security breaches, hazards, and unauthorized individuals. Crowd Control: Manage crowds during events and handle situations involving large groups of people to maintain order and safety. Customer Service: Assist visitors and staff with inquiries, provide directions, and offer a helpful presence to enhance overall experience. Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, conducting safety drills and training sessions when required. Loss Prevention: Monitor and prevent theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities. Qualifications Experience: Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Skills: Strong observational and communication skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, and effective problem-solving abilities. Physical Requirements: Physically fit, able to stand for long periods, walk extensive distances, and lift heavy objects if necessary. Certifications: Relevant security training and certifications, such as SIRA (Security Industry Regulatory Authority) certification in Dubai. Language: Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus. Clearance: Must pass background checks and security clearance requirements. Working Conditions Environment: Work in various settings, including indoor and outdoor environments, potentially exposed to varying weather conditions. Hours: Flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with the possibility of overtime. Uniform: Wear a provided uniform and adhere to a professional appearance at all times.
