Job Description

PURPOSE OF THE JOBMission & Main Objectives
  • BM & Testing of EVs and connected car systems and components
  • Report to local & Global R&D teams about the CCS evaluations and support to GCC NSCs for the field adoption.
  • Dealing with external partners & test laboratories to support CCS, EV testings.
Main tasks and responsibilities (Including team management if any):
  • Conduct benchmarking activities against competitor models analysing market trend , field quality data ,customer feedback , media impression ,NSC inputs, competitveness assessment with other brands and propose the key changes , inputs for future models to design / test and manufacturing teams.
  • Conduct customer interviews and surveys to understand customer requirements and usage, create market design standards to ensure release of the optimal model in the market.
  • Expected to be Frontline marketability in charge for conducting marketability and evaluation test of engineering methods on GCC models to ensure performance target achievement before SOP(start of production).
  • Lead /manage the target setting phase / performance target activity phase based on market requirements and customer expectations for various models in GCC to ensure successful market acceptance and salability.
  • Internally support marketing , sales and planning functions in business expansion functions for new model launches, motor shows, media drives, product communication & sales campaigns.
Geographical coverage
  • R&D Department covers the markets - GCC , MED & CIS in FY24
KPIs
  • Vehicle build evaluation & system level validation to be completed and reported within stipulated milestones and project master schedule.
  • Quick Internal One Voice regarding market feedback to be shared with upstream requesters.
  • On time test reports to be sent to liasing technical centers & MPS .
  • Recurrence prevention and to secure counter measures for high severity issues and market concerns and ensure meticulous follow up with design/test /MPS for Action plan .
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Educational background, qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics / Mechatronics).
  • Experience, other skills:
  • Minimum 4 - 7 years experience in GCC / Global automotive company or affiliated supplier
  • Computer skills / languages:
  • Proficient in all MS Office applications (word, excel, power point, etc.)
  • Able to make good timely reports.
  • Speak, Read & Write English & Arabic (must)
  • Valid driving license AT / MT
