Purpose of the JobAs a Sea Freight Pricing Leader at Aramex, you will be the primary contact for clients regarding pricing freight inquiries. Your role is vital in maintaining client relationships, while also delivering customized freight solutions to meet their specific needs. You will play a crucial part in procuring competitive rates, managing shipments from start to finish, and supporting the sales team in securing new business opportunities in the land transportation sector.
Construction and preparation of complete tender documentation - commercial and technical proposals
Handle global tenders received directly and Support stations / sales teams.
Register Aramex on tender's business sites as an approved supplier to open new opportunities.
Log tenders on the tender center and ensure the site is up to date.
Develop, evaluate, and implement pricing strategies based upon current business and competitive market dynamics.
Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis.
Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction.
Partner with Sales teams, Product Management, Business Development, and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements.
Partner with Finance and IT teams to define requirements for pricing data Base according to aramex internal systems.
Project impact of pricing changes, bundling, promotions, and discounting on bookings and revenue.
Ensure accurate adoption of CargoWise and maintain integrity in milestone status updates for pricing freight operations.
Monitor and manage Shipping lines relations at the station level to enhance buying power and negotiate competitive rates for customers.
Maintain daily and regular reports to track and analyze pricing freight performance metrics.
Identify the correct type and number of required equipment for pricing freight operations.
Develop and nurture relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and satisfaction in pricing freight services.
Support clients in resolving any claims, payment issues, or pending shipments related to Pricing freight.
Job Responsibilities - Experience and Education
Air & Sea Freight Operations Pricing Experience (5-7 Years) is a Must
