We are looking for a

Scrum Master

with experience in the

Payments

domain to drive Agile processes, facilitate sprints, and ensure seamless collaboration between teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will proactively manage risks, track progress, and support backlog and capacity management while aligning with business goals and regulatory compliance within the payments ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Stakeholder Management:

Address and resolve issues raised by external stakeholders in the payments ecosystem while ensuring seamless communication.

Risk & Escalation Management:

Identify potential risks related to payment processing, compliance, and security, escalating unresolved issues appropriately.

Sprint Facilitation:

Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring commitment to sprint goals.

Progress Tracking:

Monitor daily tasks, resolve blockers, and ensure sprint commitments are met within the payments lifecycle.

Scope Management:

Collaborate with Product Owners to prevent scope creep and document out-of-scope payment-related features.

JIRA Management:

Oversee JIRA boards to track and manage payment product development and feature rollouts.

Capacity Planning:

Monitor team workload and ensure realistic sprint commitments, considering regulatory deadlines in payments.

Metrics & Reporting:

Generate reports on sprint progress, velocity, and payment-related KPIs to facilitate agile discussions.

Backlog Management:

Work closely with Product Owners to refine and prioritize the backlog, focusing on payment innovations, security, and compliance.

Release & PPM Coordination:

Manage the release calendar for payment features and ensure alignment with Portfolio Project Management (PPM).

Access & Support:

Handle access-related requests, ensuring compliance with security policies in payments.

Business Downtime Approvals:

Coordinate with business units to manage and approve planned downtimes, ensuring minimal impact on payment transactions.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Scrum Master in the

Payments

or

FinTech

industry. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban). Hands-on experience with

JIRA

and Agile tracking tools. Deep knowledge of payment processing, regulatory compliance, and transaction security. Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage risks, resolve conflicts, and drive continuous improvement.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master certification

is a plus.
