Job Description

Script Development:

Write and develop original scripts for various format, including but not limited to films, television, commercials, web series, and digital content.Collaborate with video production manager to understand project goals and deliver scripts that meet the creative and business objectives.Ensure scripts are engaging, clear, and impactful, with strong dialogue, compelling characters, and an effective narrative structure.Revise scripts based on feedback from Clients, ensuring the final version aligns with the desired tone and narrative

Research and Story Ideation:

Conduct research to understand the themes, characters, and context of the script, ensuring authenticity and accuracy.

Develop original story ideas, concepts, and plotlines, adapting existing materials where necessary.

Stay informed about trends in media, storytelling, and the entertainment industry to incorporate innovative ideas into scripts.

Script Formatting and Technical Writing:

Follow industry-standard script formatting software to ensure scripts are properly structured and ready for production.

Ensure that the script aligns with technical specifications and production requirements, including scene breakdowns, character introductions, and pacing.

Adherence to Deadlines:

Manage time effectively to meet script deadlines while maintaining high quality and creative standards.

Track multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and adjusting schedules as necessary to meet deadlines

Experience

: 2-3 years of Proven experience as a scriptwriter with a strong portfolio of work across various media (e.g., TV, film, web series, or digital content).

Previous experience writing scripts for production or collaborating with a creative team is highly desirable.

Skills

: Exceptional storytelling and writing skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives engaging characters, and impactful dialogue

Strong research skills, with the ability to develop authentic characters and plotlines based on in-depth research.

Strong editing and proofreading skills to ensure polished and error-free scripts.

Communication Skills

:Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with directors, producers, and other creative teams

Education

: Film, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred but not required

Arabic ( Mandatory ) English

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
