* Must have own residency* Food Service: We are seeking a friendly and efficient Canteen Attendant / Cashier to join our school canteen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving food to students and operating the cashier during morning and lunch breaks. This role requires excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Basic food hygiene training is desirable, but training will be provided. Speaking Arabic is an advantage Key Responsibilities: Food Service:
Expected Start Date: 19/08/2024
- Serve food and beverages to students during morning and lunch breaks.
- Ensure food items are presented attractively and replenished as needed.
- Assist with the preparation and assembly of simple food items.
- Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
- Handle cash and card transactions, ensuring correct change is given.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and report any discrepancies.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to students and staff.
- Address any questions or concerns regarding the menu and food items.
- Maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere in the canteen.
- Adhere to food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
- Participate in training sessions for food hygiene and safety as required.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the canteen area and equipment.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of the canteen before and after service.
- Monitor inventory levels and inform supervisors when supplies need replenishing.
- Collaborate with other canteen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic food hygiene training is desirable; training will be provided.
- Previous experience in a food service or cashier role is an advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 2:00 pm
- Friday: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
