The School Bus Attendant will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation. Responsibilities:

Assist students in boarding and exiting the school bus safely
Ensure students are seated and wearing seat belts during the bus journey
Maintain order and discipline on the bus, fostering a safe and respectful environment
Collaborate with the bus driver to address any issues or concerns
Conduct regular safety checks on the bus to ensure compliance with regulations
Assist students with special needs as required
Communicate effectively with parents and school staff regarding bus-related matters
Follow emergency procedures and protocols
Requirements:

Previous experience working with children is preferred
Ability to manage student behavior and maintain a positive atmosphere on the bus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical ability to assist students with boarding and exiting the bus
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures for school transportation
High school diploma or equivalent
First Aid and CPR certification is a plus
