Primarily responsible for the accurate preparation, filing and tracking of regulatory flight and slot approvals, as required for the delivery of the Operating Plan, in addition to providing scheduling administration functions for the team.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESKey Activities1. Responsible for preparation and filing of flight schedules accurately and as per the Operating Plan, in the correct format and in a timely manner. Responsible for maintaining a tracking file to ensure that there are no discrepancies between the planned schedule and the approvals that are received and ensure that relevant stakeholders are kept abreast of the progress.2. Supplying regular and ad-hoc schedule reports to internal and external users in the required format, such as Reservations, NCC, dnata, Dubai Airport, etc.3. Manage the data master files e.g. industry data, feasibility scenarios, timezone files, etc. in the various scheduling applications.4. Maintain the codeshare flight number mapping tables accurately, cooperating with Reservation and IT teams to ensure that no conflicts or errors arise.5. Assist the Senior/Manager Schedules Planning to update various systems with schedule updates when necessary, as part of the Schedule Change Notice release.6. Run cross checks and comparisons between reservations, scheduling, cargo and operations systems to ensure that all systems hold correct schedules.7. Assist Schedules Planning Specialist in updating seasonal block times and in deconflicting flight numbers when new schedules are built.8. Assist Schedules Planning Specialist/Senior Officer in slot management projects.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLSMinimum Qualification
Master's degrees Preferred
A post graduate degree in Aviation/Airline Management is preferred. Minimum degree level qualification in Aviation, Economics, Business, Statistics, or a Mathematical or Science discipline
Experience
Minimum 3 years in similar role
Knowledge / Skills
Proficiency with a scheduling tool, preferably Sabre's Airflite or an Operations control system such as AIMS
This role requires a high level of accuracy and coordination and often working within tight deadlines to meet the required deliverable. Role requires flexibility in order to meet the job requirements
