Scaffolding Supervisor will be responsible for
Provide sound scaffolding knowledge/ advice including design work and anticipate key issues affecting contract objectives and priorities.
Ensure compliance with all Safety, Health and Environmental Regulations, Procedures and Plans and report to management all accidents, Incidents and near misses.
Ensure that all employees are working efficiently and following company/ site working hours.
Ensure that the safest and most efficient ways of working are adopted
Provide interface point for Client and foster sound relationships at site level
Ensure that adequate resources are available for the work to be progressed in accordance with the program.
Manage the implementation of quality work for the various contracts, do not accept substandard workmanship.
Undertake site measures in accordance with contract requirements and ensure all daily paperwork is completed accurately and fully detailed including: risk assessments, hand over certificates, day work records, time sheets, variations, and site Instructions etc
Ensure all personnel under their control are fully aware of, and instructed in their responsibilities
Take part in risk assessments of work activities to eliminate or control risks to employees and ensure that these assessments are communicated to all those concerned
Ensure each work place under your control is safe, that the appropriate equipment is available and used, that proper consideration is given to other persons who could be affected by TAS's work activities and that a safe system of work is in place.
Ensure that foreseeable risks of injury such as poor housekeeping or damage are brought to the attention of company and site management and express steps are taken to eliminate such risks.
Develop and implement strategies to improve daily operations on site and effectively manage own resources to ensure maximum efficiency and output including manpower and materials.
Bring to the attention of management any variation requests or scaffolds not included within the contract scope and any Instruction from site that you feel management should be made aware of.
All equipment is erected, installed or operated to a high standard, which complies with codes of practice, current regulations, and design and company procedures.
Adequate supervision, training and instruction are provided for persons under their control, particularly trainees, and that they set a personal example on the elimination of potential hazards and working safely.
Adequate personal protective equipment is readily available and used where necessary.
Set a personal example by wearing the appropriate protective clothing and equipment.
Qualifications
• CISRS certified (Construction Industry Scaffolder's Record Scheme)
• Experience with Cup lock, Tube & Coupler scaffold system
• Proficiency in English language
• Flexibility - willing to carry out other tasks
• Need 5-year experience
• Locally available candidates with Oil & Gas experience required
