The Salesforce Analyst will work with other members of the Sales Effectiveness team in defining and analyzing stakeholder requirements and in planning and building practical, effective solutions on the Salesforce platform. As a member of the Sales Effectiveness team, the Salesforce Analyst will participate in all team development activities including sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.The Salesforce Analyst will be responsible for implementing, customizing, maintaining and developing solutions on the Salesforce platform in support of Sales and Service. The Salesforce Analyst will ensure integrity and customer success by managing interfaces with internal and external systems, conducting quality assurance tests and validating reports, and working with users to identify and resolve issues. Gather, document, and analyze user and stakeholder requirements and assist with implementing solutions that stay within budgetary and time limits.
Facilitate sprint meetings and assist with maintaining the sprint backlog.
Participate in the full application life cycle from design to development, testing, and deployment.
Evaluate new Salesforce releases and develop/plan for future implementation of newly released features and deprecation of retired features.
Write and edit varied types of documentation, including but not limited to user stories, requirements, meeting notes, meeting agendas, release notes, acceptance criteria, training materials, and business-process diagrams.
Develop and support Salesforce reports and dashboards, including using third party solutions as needed.
Assist with routine administrative duties as needed, such as user administration, and with working on Salesforce Service Desk tickets submitted by end users.
3+ years of administration experience in an Enterprise or Unlimited Salesforce org, or a Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification or similar advanced Salesforce certification such as Sales Cloud Consultant, Sharing and Visibility Designer, or Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer.
2+ years of business analyst or similar experience (e.g., data analyst, research analyst, business information analyst, systems analyst, or process designer/developer ).
Strong written and oral communications skills.
Experience with the Agile methodology, specifically Scrum and Kanban; experience with Agile Accelerator a plus.
A strong understanding of reports, dashboards, report types, record types, report snapshots, custom summary formulas, products, price books, quotes, and approval processes.
Strong systems/process orientation with demonstrated analytical thinking, organization skills and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
Good understanding of the Salesforce security model and object models.
Experience installing and supporting Salesforce apps; experience with supporting Salesforce integrations and Web services.
Desirable, but not Essential:
Salesforce Platform Developer or App Developer Certification
Experience working on a scrum team or within an Agile project-management structure
1+ years of experience with basic Salesforce flow development.
Good understanding of Salesforce APIs, REST web services, their use and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of DevOps; experience with GitHub and Copado a plus.
