JOB OVERVIEW
As a Sales Trainer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales team. You will work closely with the sales teams, ensuring they possess comprehensive product knowledge and effective selling skills. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in the timely communication of process improvements. This involves creating and implementing training materials, conducting workshops, and providing ongoing support and coaching.
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Work closely with our sales teams, helping them evolve their approach by:
• Design and deliver engaging and effective virtual (and occasionally F2F) training sessions to sales teams large and small across the globe.
• Ensure that every salesperson knows our offerings and is able to position them effectively.
• Train on all the relevant selling skills from building rapport to how to handle objections, and navigate competitive landscapes to close deals with finesse.
• Establish a culture of continuous improvement by championing the work other teams are doing to streamline process to make things easier from smoother admissions to updated marketing materials
• Work 1:1 with our salespeople where necessary to provide developmental feedback as well as support to improve in service of meeting targets.
• Building positive and productive relationships with the leaders of our regional sales team to understand their needs and deliver training that meets them
ABOUT YOU
Experience Required:
• Proven track record of training and/or coaching that has a positive impact on sales performance
• Demonstrated expertise in design and delivery of sales training and/or coaching. Preferably
• in the education sector
• for a global organisation
• for internal staff at different levels of an organisation
• for a wide range of products
• Strong advisor/partnering skills to work effectively with peers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders
• Designing and delivering engaging, interactive, and effective training sessions virtually
• Able to build rapport and trust with salespeople
• Working effectively both with groups and 1:1
Knowledge/Skills Required:
• Ability to quickly learn subject matter.
• Be self-motivated, versatile and able to work on own initiative with little supervision.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively prioritise, multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• English native level proficiency required (Mandarin or Arabic as an additional language desirable)
