Job Title: Trading Salesman

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Trading Salesman to join our dynamic team. As a Trading Salesman, you will be responsible for generating revenue by selling our company's products or services to customers in the trading industry. You will work closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that meet their requirements. Your excellent communication and negotiation skills will be essential in building strong relationships with customers and closing deals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the trading industry, including hedge funds, investment banks, and other financial institutions.
• Product Knowledge: Develop in-depth knowledge of our company's products or services and stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions.
• Needs Analysis: Identify customer needs and preferences, and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
• Sales Calls: Conduct sales calls to generate new business leads and follow up on existing ones to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with customers to close deals and ensure profitability for the company.
• Quote Management: Manage quotes and proposals to ensure accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries.
• Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts to management and contribute to the development of sales strategies.
• Compliance: Ensure all sales activities are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless delivery of products or services.
• Data Analysis: Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in trading sales or a related field.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce.com) is an asset.
• Industry knowledge of trading platforms, instruments, and regulations (e.g., futures, options, swaps).
• Certifications (Talent & Tally) are an asset.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with financial markets data analysis tools (Microsoft Office).
• Knowledge of programming languages ( Python, Java).
• Familiarity with cloud-based collaboration tools ( Slack).
