: As an Outdoor Sales Representative, you will be responsible for actively promoting and selling our transportation services by meeting with potential and existing clients face-to-face. Your role will focus on generating new business, building strong relationships, and expanding our client base in the transport industry. Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and target new business opportunities in the transportation industry through cold calls, in-person meetings, and networking.
• Actively prospect and generate leads, focusing on developing new client relationships and expanding existing accounts.
• Conduct on-site visits and presentations to potential clients, showcasing our transportation and logistics solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at client companies.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service terms to close sales and achieve sales targets.
• Provide clients with tailored solutions that meet their transportation needs and goals.
• Track and report sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in outdoor sales or business development, ideally in the transport, logistics, or supply chain industry.
• Strong knowledge of transportation services, including freight, shipping, and logistics.
• Proven ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to achieve sales targets and goals.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively while in the field.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to track sales activities and client information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.
• Experience working in B2B sales and a proven track record of sales success.
• Knowledge of transport management systems (TMS) and supply chain solutions.
