As a Sales Merchandiser for Home Appliances, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling a range of home appliances to customers in both retail and wholesale settings. This role involves engaging with customers, setting up and maintaining attractive product displays, and ensuring that products are effectively marketed to drive sales. You will be stationed primarily at dealer locations such as hypermarkets or home appliance stores that sell our products, but you may also occasionally be assigned to our home appliance showroom. Responsibilities: Merchandising and Display Create visually appealing product displays to attract customer attention and drive sales. Monitor and maintain appropriate product inventory levels, ensuring shelves are adequately stocked and products are properly displayed. Implement merchandising plans and strategies in alignment with company objectives and brand guidelines. Sales and Customer Engagement Introduce and promote our home appliance products to customers in dealer shops and showrooms. Provide customers with detailed product information, including features and benefits. Build relationships with customers to enhance satisfaction and drive sales. Dealer and Retail Support Support dealers by training their staff on product features and benefits to improve sales performance. Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional strategies and pricing initiatives tailored to dealer environments. Conduct regular visits to dealer locations to assess product placement, competitor activity, and merchandising effectiveness. Sales Analysis and Market Trends Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for product placement improvements and new product introductions. Evaluate the success of merchandising initiatives and provide recommendations for continuous improvement and optimization of sales outcomes. Vendor and Supplier Coordination Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable terms, ensure timely deliveries, and maintain strong relationships. Event Participation Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and product launches to showcase home appliances and promote brand awareness. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or a degree is preferred. Previous sales experience in a retail or wholesale environment, preferably in the home appliance industry. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with home appliance products and industry trends. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work in different locations, including dealer shops and company showrooms. Basic proficiency in analyzing sales data and identifying market opportunities.
