The key objectives of this role are to identify and develop opportunities in raw material trading in the Middle East and North Africa. The position will also play an essential role in bringing fresh ideas and insights to the team and supporting other teams to achieve their objectives.
The candidate has a strong commercial background and a track record in managing operations in industrial enterprises. Fluent English is required. A high level of integrity and experience working in a multinational environment is also essential.
In this position, you will:
\xc2\xb7 Develop new customers mainly in the Middle East - work autonomously to spot and cultivate key accounts and achieve our sales targets.
\xc2\xb7 Promote and sell raw materials across various industries. This includes but is not limited to ferroalloys, noble alloys, ore, chemicals, and rare earth metals.
\xc2\xb7 Control your costs (travelling etc).
\xc2\xb7 Manage customer/supplier expectations while coordinating with internal teams (marketing, engineering, accounting, financing).
\xc2\xb7 Report to the management team.
\xc2\xb7 Set up a desk and develop a necessary team to fulfil a regional management role in the future
The professional profile includes:
\xc2\xb7 University degree with a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the ferroalloy or metallurgical industry
\xc2\xb7 Experience and/or knowledge in the metallurgy preferred
\xc2\xb7 Proven passion for results-driven sales, and a keen eye for new opportunities
\xc2\xb7 Experience in coordinating teams and meeting deadlines
\xc2\xb7 Good team player, who takes the initiative
\xc2\xb7 Fluency in English (verbal and written) required
\xc2\xb7 Another language would be a plus
\xc2\xb7 Technical knowledge of metallurgy and the steel industry
\xc2\xb7 Being able to travel frequently
