DP World is looking for excellent sales manager to promote & sell Trade Finance products and attract more volume to increase top-line revenue.JOB LOCATION - DIFCKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Overall responsible for meeting the given sales targets and business growth objectives.
Conduct business development activities, generate leads and convert them into wins, increase top-line revenue
Arrange and execute customer visits and close deals
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs and aligning trade finance offerings accordingly.
Be the first line of defence in understanding and pre-qualifying clients from a risk perspective
Work in harmony with DP World Trade Finance central teams (Credit, Operations, Compliance) as well as the DP World's Logistics teams.
Analyse sales trends, markets dynamics and reports to determine business growth potential
Gather market & competitor intelligence and devise plans to capture new business opportunities
Act as an ambassador for DP World at all times when working; promoting and demonstrating positive behaviours in harmony with DP World's Principles, values and culture; ensuring the highest level of safety is applied in all activities; understanding and following DP World's Code of Conduct and Ethics policies
Perform other related duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Have more than 5-10 years' sales/coverage/relationship management/client acquisition experience in promoting/selling Trade Finance / Corporate & Commercial Banking. Experience with Non-Bank Financial Institutions, Fintechs Trade Finance Funds is a big plus
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Banking or Engineering.
Excellent knowledge in Trade Finance, more specifically financing imports & exports, pre & post-shipment financing, receivables & payables, supply chain finance as well as inventory finance.
Excellent track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Excellent persuasion skills, ability to spot opportunities and go after them with gusto
Strong stakeholder management skills to be able appropriately execute deals, in coordination with credit, compliance, product and operations teams.
Patience and the ability to tactfully handle customer negotiations
Problem solving attitude
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
