Overview of the role :Purpose of this job is to create the lead and improve efficiency in new project sales. Showcasing our Brands & products to Clients, Timely submission of quotations, attending technical meetings, technical & commercial negotiation and close the sale. Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers. Additionally, to stay updated on the market situation, demand, competition and emerging new trends.What you will do:Responsible for:
Ensures assigned territory sales efforts are run consistently and cohesively with minimal back-office support, by taking ownership. Achieve or exceed the sales goals in line with the budgetary in a highly competitive market.
Leads business growth and fosters relationships with key customers, consultants and architects and developers to to ensure the acquisition of new clients and proactively maintain the existing customers relationship.
Create demand for AFE products by working closely with specifiers and project influencers by meeting the key consultants and developers during concept stage.
Understand, interpret and manage customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support.
Preparation/submission of quotation before cut off, sometimes the decisive call based on past jobs.
Participate negotiation in sales with customers to conclude the order.
Understanding the decision-making process and identifying key decision makers for the inquiry
Strengthen brand image and prequalify brands with industry consultants
Assist Sr.manager to create sales strategies to increase the market share of AFE.
Executes sales operations with strict compliance to the quality procedures & ISO policies of the company.
Technical coordination
Ensures all bids are approved based on project scope and products dealt by AFE with minimal back-office support.
Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine client requirements.
Coordination with Estimation Dept. and advising relevant critical information about the project inquiry
Prepares pre-qualification and technical documents to support the new equipment proposals of AFE.
Relook into the estimates based on project scope and local market rate and discuss with senior management to fit within the clients budget as far as possible, prior to final negotiation, especially for the big volume projects
Customer Relations
Maintain a strong working relationship with the key consultants, developers and contractors within the construction industry.
Proactively managing customer requirements for delivery taking into account factors such as manufacturing lead-times, product specification changes etc.
Preparing and showcasing the product presentations, attending client meetings and participation in exhibitions etc.
Assists the Finance Department with the timely collection of advance payments based on contracting agreements.
Product & Market Study
Develop an excellent understanding of the strengths and weakness of the products handled by the division to ensure the right products are supplied to customers
Stay abreast with latest regulations, standards and good working practices within the industry in relation to Elevators and Escalators.
Builds competitive awareness of the AFE products being offered in the market to help position AFE
Periodic Reports
Collection and analysis of data about the overall market area movement including market penetration , volume for different
