Job Summary:
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing client relationships within the building and construction materials sector, with a specific focus on products that integrate chemical elements (such as adhesives, coatings, sealants, additives, and other specialty chemicals). You will play a key role in expanding market share, developing new business opportunities, and leading a team of sales professionals. A deep understanding of both the building materials industry and chemical products is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sales strategies to meet company objectives in the building and construction materials sector.
• Promote and sell a variety of building materials, including products with chemical components (e.g., paints, coatings, adhesives, sealants, additives).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including contractors, distributors, and project managers.
• Identify new business opportunities in target markets and drive new customer acquisition.
• Lead and manage the sales team, providing coaching, support, and performance feedback.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical support to clients.
• Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, supply chain, and product development) to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies and profit margins.
• Stay current on industry developments, particularly in the intersection of construction materials and chemicals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in construction management or chemical engineering are a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the building and construction materials industry, with a strong preference for candidates with knowledge of chemical products.
• In-depth knowledge of construction materials and chemicals used in the industry, such as adhesives, coatings, sealants, additives, etc.
• Proven track record in sales management, business development, and team leadership.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and communicate technical product specifications and benefits.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Arabic Language (Preferred)
