Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, a passion for sports, and excellent leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to achieve sales targets and enhance performance.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share and achieve revenue goals.
• Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
• Sales Forecasting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and budgets to senior management.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain deep knowledge of the company's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
• Promotional Activities: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales materials.
• Performance Metrics: Monitor team performance against sales targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in the sports industry.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
