Roles and Responsibilities Your role will encompass all aspects of business development in terms of dealing in Polymer trading, petrochemicals/plastic raw materials.
• Direct and monitor the work flow of the entire sales cycle (full cycle from sales to delivery).
• Negotiate with supplier & customers to close sales order
• Co-ordinate Develop and manage cost sheets /profitability for each order
• Achieve satisfactory profit/loss ratio and market share in relation to preset standards, industry trends, and also sales and margin goals.
• Act as a liaison between the suppliers/customers and operations staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and assist and direct team members in sourcing and growing customer base.
• Maintenance of current customers: Including analysis of current rates to assure we are competitive and also providing excellent service. Also, soliciting for other business/cross-sales from customers.
• Check monthly purchase and sales reports to understand the trend: including determining overall success of purchase/sale.
• Determine current rates in the market place offered by competitors.
• Ensure all necessary documentation is accurate and timely.
• Developing goals for specialized sales/facilitation work by offering solutions to supplier/customers and be competitive so that such sales continue regularly.
• Co-ordinate with finance/accounts to plan supplier and line payments
• Check LC/CAD documents before submission
• Day-to-day team management and assignment of roles/responsibilities to your reportees .
• Work with Management to resolve people issues as needed.
• Ensure training and direction for new and existing sales/logistics members.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Proven experience in dealing of Minimum 8 years contemporary wholesale experience with a passion for sales and building relationships
• Experience in polymer trading/petrochemicals/ plastic raw materials is a must
• Experienced in International markets- Knowledge of Middle east Asia is a must
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills are paramount
• Proven track record of generating sales and building relationships
• Developed buyer relationships
• Detailed reporting skills
• Target driven but ensuring the highest level of service is always provided.
• Strong analytical skills
• Problem solving, use of own initiative and drive
• UAE driving license is must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
