The Sales Manager - Measurement Solutions, Oman



The Sales Manager - Measurement Solutions, Oman, is responsible for driving revenue growth and market share expansion for Emerson's measurement instrumentation and solutions within the Omani market. This role focuses on developing and completing strategic sales plans, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with our local business partner (LBP) to achieve sales targets. The successful candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of measurement technologies, exceptional sales skills, and a proven record of success in the oil & gas, petrochemical, power and related industries!


You will be owning the end-user accounts in Oman while identifying and developing new customers and business opportunities.


In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:



Sales Strategy and Execution:


Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets for measurement products and solutions in Oman. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including key accounts and strategic projects. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies and tactics. Forecast sales accurately and provide regular reports on sales performance. Lead and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Plan site-based customer engagement to improve our MRO & Lifecycle services businesses.
Customer Relationship Management:


Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including engineering, procurement, and operations personnel. Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical expertise and solutions to their measurement challenges. Conduct regular customer visits and presentations to promote Emerson's products and services. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Teammate & collaboration:


Work as a team with our LBP's sales and support staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
Technical Expertise:


Provide technical support to customers and sales team members. Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements. Work with application engineers to create solutions for customer needs.
Market Analysis and Business Development:


Conduct market research to identify potential customers and market opportunities. Analyze competitor activities and develop strategies to maintain a competitive advantage.. Develop and handle relationships with local EPCs, system integrators and end users.
Compliance and Reporting:


Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Prepare and submit accurate sales reports and forecasts. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.

For this Role, You Will Need:



Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering (preferably Instrumentation, Electrical, or Mechanical) or a related field. Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Strong technical knowledge of measurement technologies and applications. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:



Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Fluency in Arabic and English. GCC National is preferred.
