Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our business development and sales efforts within the oil and gas industry. The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building relationships with key stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales within the oil and gas sector, excellent negotiation skills, and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Key Responsibilities :

• Business Development :
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector, including upstream, midstream, and downstream activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including oil companies, refineries, drilling contractors, and service providers.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to capitalize on potential sales opportunities.
• Develop and implement strategies for entering new markets and expanding the company's client base.
• Sales Management :
• Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring the achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to clients, emphasizing the value of the company's products and services.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract agreements with clients, ensuring both company profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management.
• Client Relationship Management :
• Act as the main point of contact for major clients, ensuring long-term relationships and customer satisfaction.
• Provide post-sale support, including addressing client concerns and ensuring the timely delivery of products and services.
• Ensure consistent communication and engagement with existing clients to maintain and grow key accounts.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and strengthen business relationships.
• Team Leadership :
• Lead and mentor the sales team, setting clear goals and ensuring team members have the tools and resources they need to succeed.
• Provide coaching and training to develop the skills of the sales team.
• Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
• Develop and execute sales training programs to keep the team updated on new products and industry trends.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong understanding of oil and gas operations, products, and services, including upstream, midstream, and downstream processes.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with senior decision-makers in the oil and gas industry.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to analyze market trends and sales performance.
• Proficient in CRM software and MS Office Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is a plus.

• Experience in managing a sales team and driving high-performance results.
• Deep knowledge of local and international oil and gas markets.
• Experience working with both private and national oil companies.
• A strong network of industry contacts within the oil and gas sector.
