Your Role
You are an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager with a strong background in the events and exhibitions industry, specifically within the Gulf region (UAE and Saudi Arabia). You bring in-depth knowledge of market trends, client preferences, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. In this role, you will be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, driving our sales initiatives, building relationships, and expanding our client base.
Key Responsibilities:
• Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets. Tailor approaches for the UAE and Saudi Arabia markets, identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends and opportunities.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Understand client needs to provide customized event solutions and act as the main point of contact for key clients.
• Market Analysis & Insights: Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. Provide insights for strategic decision-making, monitoring sales performance metrics.
• Event Proposals & Presentations: Develop and present compelling sales proposals. Collaborate with the projects team to create innovative event solutions that reflect the company's brand and value proposition.
• Collaboration & Coordination: Align sales efforts with marketing campaigns by working closely with the Projects team. Ensure seamless event execution and participate in trade shows and industry events to generate leads.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement, and maintain an updated client database and sales pipeline.
Your Talent
• Experience: 5-7 years in sales within the events and exhibitions industry, with proven success in the Gulf region, particularly in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Gulf events market, cultural and business practices in the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and familiarity with regional industry regulations and trends.
• Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals; proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Personal Attributes: Self-motivated with a strategic mindset, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This position is based in Dubai, UAE, with frequent travel to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries as required. We're looking forward to your application!
