Company Overview: No1Events is a leading events management company specializing in a wide range of event categories, including sports, conferences, entertainment, exhibitions, and more. We are currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated, and results-oriented Sales Manager to handle current tender inquiries and client requests while driving new business opportunities. This is a commission-based role, ideal for someone with a strong track record in events sales who thrives on achieving targets and generating revenue.
Job Summary: The Sales Manager will be responsible for managing existing client inquiries and tenders, as well as identifying and securing new clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in event sales across all categories and be driven to achieve revenue growth through commission-based earnings. You will be expected to bring in new business, close deals, and manage client relationships to deliver high-quality event services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and respond to current tender inquiries and client requests, ensuring timely and professional communication.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in sports, conferences, entertainment, exhibitions, and other event categories.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, event organizers, and partners to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
• Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed sales targets and maximize commission earnings.
• Lead the full sales cycle, from lead generation and initial contact to deal closure and contract negotiation.
• Prepare tailored proposals and presentations for potential clients, showcasing the company's event solutions and expertise.
• Work closely with internal teams, including production, logistics, and marketing, to ensure smooth execution of events based on client expectations.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
• Attend networking events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and build relationships with potential clients.
• Regularly report on sales performance, client feedback, and market insights to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the events industry, with a focus on sports, conferences, entertainment, and exhibitions.
• Proven track record of managing tender inquiries, client inquiries, and bringing in new business.
• Demonstrated success in a commission-based role, with the ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of event sales processes, contract negotiations, and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to attend industry events and travel as needed to meet with clients.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with large-scale events or international clients is highly desirable.
• Established network of contacts within the events industry.
• Multilingual skills are an asset.
Compensation:
• Commission-based only, with potential for high earnings based on performance.
• Competitive commission structure on all closed deals and new client acquisitions.
