• Sales Manager - Leisure
JOB SUMMARY
Sales Manager - Leisure , is responsible in managing the Leisure Sales segment. Conducts all day-to-day activities related to the sales functions with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives.
• Ensure comprehensive and complete coverage of own portfolio of target accounts and results to be achieved and maximize targets and maximum productivity.
• Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets.
• Establish parameters, quotes and negotiate prices with key Travel agents for all markets.
• Promote and produce and convert sales leads for the hotel in the Leisure FIT and Leisure Group segments immediately.
• Provide feedback on changing marketing conditions, including trends in the competition, as a result of direct sales solicitation, telephone and direct mail in its market areas.
• Initiate and develop long term relationships with leading tour operators, travel agents and influential members of the travel industry to ensure growth in market share and penetration.
• Monitor and analyze activities and trends of competitors with the ability to design, develop and implement strategic sales plans.
• Assist in the creation and analysis of financials including budgets, forecasting, rates, and pricing guidelines.
• Represent property at appropriate travel industry tradeshows, conference and meetings.
• Participate on the hotel revenue management team.
