SCOPE OF WORK
The Sales Manager is responsible for managing the Sales Department in addition to responding to sales enquiries and requirements from customers.

Main Responsibilities: (Listed in order of priority)
•Key tasks and accountabilities are intended to guide the range and level of work expected of the post holder. This is not an extensive list of all tasks that may fall to the post holder and employees will be expected to carry out such other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time.•
• To report on sales performance by analyzing quotations, orders, selling and material price information, actual vs. targets, conversion rates, trends in the industry by location, industry and product line
• Predict future activity based on findings
• Visit clients and sites as required
• Provide quotations and proposals to customers and follow-up quotations for order approval
• Receive and review customer sales enquiries and quote as per customer requirements and specifications
• Develop and respond to proposals for specific customer requirements, including requests for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions
• Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery
• Follow up receivables
• Coordinating with stores for listed deliveries/ fabrications
• Provide technical and non-technical support service to clients and other staff members regarding products
• Document account activities, generate reports, and keep records of business transactions with customers and suppliers
• Maintain sales forecasting reports
COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
a) Proficiency in computer applications, especially MS Word & MS Excel & PPT
b) Proactive in dealings with departmental members & customers
c) Methodical/Cost Conscious
d) Analyze product costing and selling prize for better pricing methods
e) Degree holder or MBA in Sales & Marketing with relevant experience in similar role
COMMUNICATION & WORKING RELATIONSHIP
? Should possess good interpersonal skills for dealing with Sales Team/other employees
? Should possess good leadership skills
? Ability to cooperate with authorities at all levels in the larger interest of the Department and the organization.

Experience:
• Sales: 5 years (Preferred)
• HDPE Pipes & Fittings (Sales): 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
• MOFA Attested Engineering Degree (Required)
