As we expand our operations into Dubai, we are looking to enter the African market, targeting countries such as Kenya, Nigeria, and Mozambique. Our mission is to provide high-quality fertilizers to enhance agricultural productivity across the continent.Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in the fertilizer or chemical manufacturing industry and a proven track record of success in the African market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and growing our customer base in Africa, leveraging their expertise to drive sales and business development initiatives. This role will be based out of Dubai.Key Responsibilities:
Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in targeted African countries.
Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales strategies tailored to the African market, focusing on customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors, agricultural cooperatives, and government agencies.
Customer Engagement: Identify potential customers and engage them through presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and logistics teams to ensure alignment on market strategies and customer requirements.
Performance Tracking: Monitor sales performance, analyze results, and adjust strategies as necessary to achieve sales targets.
Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on market developments, sales forecasts, and customer feedback.
Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s degree in related stream.
3-4 years of relevant experience in sales or business development within the fertilizer or chemical manufacturing industry, specifically targeting the African market.
Strong understanding of African market, including regulatory requirements and distribution channels.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
