Sales Manager (construction Materials)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the construction materials sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, strong knowledge of construction materials, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for developing sales strategies, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the sales team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the construction materials sector.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, and distributors to enhance customer loyalty and retention.
• Sales Forecasting: Prepare sales forecasts and reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to ensure alignment in sales initiatives and product offerings.
• Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
• Budget Management: Oversee the sales budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve sales objectives.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the construction materials industry.
• Strong understanding of construction materials, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
