Position: Sales Manager - Commercial Kitchen Equipment

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a background in commercial kitchen equipment sales to lead our team. This role requires in-depth knowledge of the commercial kitchen industry, strong relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will manage key accounts, develop new business opportunities, and lead the sales team to achieve revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Analyze market trends and competitor offerings to identify potential growth opportunities.
• Provide input on pricing strategies, promotional activities, and new product launches to maximize revenue.
• Account Management:
• Manage relationships with key clients, including restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other commercial kitchen users.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and ongoing business.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.
• Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the commercial kitchen industry.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build brand awareness.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to design campaigns and sales materials targeted at specific customer segments.
• Team Leadership and Development:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives, providing regular training and support to enhance their performance.
• Set individual and team sales goals, and monitor performance to ensure alignment with company objectives.
• Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture within the sales team.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses for senior management.
• Track KPIs such as sales growth, conversion rates, and client retention, and implement improvement strategies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all sales processes and protocols.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, with at least 2 years in commercial kitchen equipment or a related industry.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of commercial kitchen equipment and industry standards.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
