Summary- The Sales Manager will be responsible for acquiring new products and distribution agreements with suppliers to meet market demand. List of customers across UAE, Saudi Arabia, and other international markets
Ability to identify and cater to market demand
Strong existing relationships with customers in different sales channels
Good communication skills, effective problem-solving skills and must be able to provide leadership to the division.
Preferably have Chemical Engineering Degree
Experience in Speciality & Commodity Chemicals
Experience in Manufacturing/Processing is a considered and added advantage
Duties & Responsibilities:
Understanding the Vision and Mission of the Company and to help take it forward
To help create the way forward in terms of formulating a Business Plan, Sales Plan and Product Procurement Plan
Actively identify new business opportunities and connect with key decision-makers within customer organizations
Provide product and scientific-technical information and send a timely submission of technical and commercial offers
Manage sales pipeline to convert new business opportunities into commercial success
To research market demand in Chemical segments in EMEA region proactively
Participate in planning and strategy meetings by researching market trends, understanding specific customer needs, and presenting opportunities for customer engagement and penetration of products into markets
Create, maintain, and manage sales forecasts that meet agreed upon criteria for product categories
Capture, document, and report key sales process activities
Assist in recruitment process of the Sales Team
Creating and running a training program for the recruited Sales Team
Manage the Sales Team
Daily coordination with all different departments including but not limited to Supply Chain, Admin, and HR
Identify and Engage with International Suppliers and create strong partnerships
Periodic Sales Analysis and Action Plans
Managing Key Accounts
Coordinating with Accounts Team for L/C\'s, Invoicing, Payments, Receivables, Cash Flow
Job Requirements:
Bachelor in Chemical Engineering
Minimum 8 years prior chemicals sales/trading experience.
Minimum 4 years of managerial experience
Working knowledge of Chemicals Distribution & Trading Business
Willingness to travel for Business Development, Sales and Procurement
