Job Details / :Our Customer is a global leader in design and technology services and is seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Middle East region, with a specific focus on the GCC Market. The ideal should have a proven track record in the telecommunications industry and work in any of the large Telcos or Telcom Solution Selling companies in GCC Arabic speaking abilities will be a great advantage.Key Responsibilities:Business Development:Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within the Middle East region, with a strong emphasis on the KSA, UAE and Qatar markets. Develop and execute strategic sales plans, and large deal strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets. Pursue and convert Network Transformation and OSS Transformation opportunities with Telecoms. Should have strong telecom industry CXO connects and should continuously build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at Telcos and other major telecommunications providers. Understand the evolving needs of the telecommunications industry in the region and position as a strategic partner.Sales Management:Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve sales objectives. Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the sales team to enhance their skills and performance. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics.Customer Relationship Management:Manage CXO relationships. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. Proactively identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective mannerMarket Analysis:Should know market trends and conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the Middle East telecommunications market, including 5G, IoT, AI, and cloud technologies. Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and industry best practices. Analyse competitor activities and develop effective competitive strategiesQualifications and Experience:Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. 10 to 15 years of experience in sales and business development within the telecommunications industry. Proven track record of success in closing deals with major telecommunications providers in GCC region. Business understanding of the telecommunications domain, including 5G, IoT, AI, edge computing, network virtualization, and cloud-native technologies. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, in English and Arabic. Ability to travel frequently within the Middle East regionPreferred Skills:Should be a Go Getter. Experience in working with global technology companies. Knowledge of the Middle Eastern culture and business practices. Strong interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
