We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager, Analyzers, Products and Integration (API) to maintain and expand relationships with Strategic Customers from a corporate perspective, build and leverage relationships across the enterprise in functional areas such as Engineering, Finance, Manufacturing, and Maintenance where the objective is to maximize the sale of API products and projects.
The role is an individual contributor and does not have any direct reports. You will work closely with marketing, proposals group, business development and other sales professionals in a collaborative manner to maximize customer support. Your responsibility area will be Qatar and neighboring countries, and you will be based in Doha, Qatar.
Your main responsibilities Planning sales volumes and potential of target customers. Acting as main point of contact in all account related matters. Providing information via CRM for forecasts and planning. Analyzing and evaluating markets (both analyzer technology and product portfolio) and needs of potential or existing customers. Investigating and evaluating specific business opportunities for the customer related project/product and service portfolio in assigned territory. Preparing customer contacts, builds, and maintains a customer focused network. Preparing and negotiating projects (including international cross border projects) and proposals in cooperation with other involved professionals and management. Completing sales and revenue related key reporting.
What you need to be successful in the role Bachelor's Degree in related technical field (Chemistry, Engineering, Physics) or equivalent work experience. 10 plus years' experience working in related industries (Petroleum, Petrochem, etc). Willingness to travel, up to 40%. In depth understanding of: Process Gas Chromatography and competing analytical techniques. Sample Conditioning Systems Application of process analyzers in O&G related industries Petro Chem / Chemical processes in related industries. Finance as related to plant/project operations Understanding Customer CAPEX and OPEX investment cycle and Project development Understanding Commercial and Legal terms & conditions of Project execution. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others. Excellent communication and negotiation skills and an ability to build trusting relationships. MS Office knowledge.
