Sales Manager, Africa - Power Systems Division


Camfil Middle East is looking for a Sales Manager to develop new business, manage existing channel partners/distributors as well as identifying and on-boarding new distributors to deliver strong and steadily increasing sales growth as well as growing market share of Camfil Power Systems - filtration products in all addressable segments, including Power Generation, O&G, Petrochemical and Industrial throughout Africa Region.






The ability to explain and grasp technical concepts in a concise manner that leads to profitable results is necessary for this position. A passion for sales innovation is a must. Prior sales experience with a proven track record for delivering results in multiple territories is required. The ideal candidate should be able to work well alone as well as in a team and be able to manage and lead a distributor network to deliver effective sales results and market coverage in the designated territories.






This is an ideal position for an Engineer with a concrete commercial background and the desire to sell!






The position is based at Algeria and will report to the Sales Director for Power Systems Division.






The role involves international travel, primarily within Africa Region.


ROLE PRIORITIES:
--------------------

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the assigned territories.
• Building up a robust pipeline and ensuring accurate and rigorous forecasting and account planning.
• Drive profitable growth - maximize sales and profit of the company in the assigned respective territories





• Cultivate new business relationships with key customers and reinforce existing ones.
• Map and oversee sales channels effectively and thorough follow up on all sales opportunities.
• Evaluate product and service marketability tailored on customer requirements.
• Adept preparation, presentation and negotiation of sales proposals, quotes, and contracts.
• Develop, negotiate and manage distributor/representative agreements and partnerships where applicable, both internally and externally in compliance with the existing contracts.


• Manage and report order bookings, opportunities, customer feedback, activity plans, and other reports/submittals applicable.
• Provide monthly forecasts and commentary, meticulously document sales activities and opportunity pipelines in salesforce for analysis, expense management, and territory planning.
• Offer technical expertise and support to customers highlighting the advantages and applications of our products and services.
• Support sales objectives by identifying customers' needs and providing the right solutions in a professional and effective manner
• Manage designated sales leads, prospects and customer accounts in line with agreed business objectives
• Create, review, and maintain price lists, including understanding competitive landscapes and market pricing across all opportunities.
• To increase Camfil brand awareness in the market by Seminars, Presentations, Webinars, etc.
• Support local agents / channel partners to enhance the aftermarket and plant optimization sales in the assigned respective territory





• Collaborate with the product development team to integrate customer feedback into product improvements.
• Lead and/or participate in all training sessions involving applications, products, strategies, competitive positioning for said marketplace
• Participate in the annual Camfil budget process including sales, department expense projections & management





• Lead and manage distributors on a growth and development plan to increase sales and market coverage and surpass quarterly and annual sales targets including evaluation of their performance on regular interval
• Maintains details of assigned accounts and full details of relevant opportunities, including equipment listings; key decision-makers and competitions
• Conduct recurring product training to distributors, channel partners and end users as required to support sales objectives
• Adhere to and uphold Camfil's Owners Directive
• Establish and maintain industry contacts that lead to sales opportunities.
• Address pre-sales technical and commercial queries from direct customers and distributors.
• Conduct customized demonstrations of Camfil products, solutions, and software tailored to specific customer needs.
• Continuously gather market intelligence in dedicated regions to provide feedback for shaping company strategy and product development.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and technical advancements impacting target markets.





Educational & Work Experience:


• Bachelor's Degree in Sales & Marketing; Engineering Discipline
• 5+ years of experience with solution sales (preferably International Sales)
• Demonstrated skills in sales of technical and high-value products in competitive markets
• Knowledge of filtration in rotating equipments
• Understanding of gas turbine systems/turbomachinery
• Relevant business network in Oil & Gas, Power Generation segments

• Ability to travel up to 80%
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, fluent business English, French and Arabic
